Tara Lynn DiSalvo
Owner / Instructor of West Florida Dance Center. Miss Tara Lynn has been involved in dance since she was 3 and has been a professional teacher since age 19. When she was a dancer with the Ringling Bros. circus. She traveled with the company from Pennsylvania to California before deciding to start her first dance studio and after school dance program. Tara Lynn’s Performing Arts Center grew for 13 years and had 300 - 600 students at any given time. Miss Tara Lynn is a mother of two beautiful daughters who she credits as her motivation and inspiration.
Miss Tara Lynn Moved to Florida with her girls in 2008 to be near her family and it only seemed natural to have set up a dance studio. This is how West Florida Dance Center was born. West Florida Dance Center is now the home of 200 Company dancers.
The Dancers From West Florida Dance Company have gone on to dance, choreograph and Teach professionally in LA, on TV, Films, Cruise Ships, Award Shows, and have received Countless College scholarships to top rated schools such as Pace and Chapman University.
Miss Jessica has been dancing since the age of two. She was raised in the dance studio by her mother, Miss Tara Lynn. She is a nationally competitive dancer for 10 years now and has achieved Several Titles including Dancer of The Year, Miss Sophisticated, Top Dancer, 2 First Place National Titles at the Hall of Fame National Competition 2012.

Jessica studied dance with dozens of amazing Choreographers and teachers throughout the year’s from California to Florida. People such as Roy Fitzel, Sylvia Rico, Dennis Caspary, Joe Tremaine, Roland Gruspe Jr., and Mark Chavarria; the list is endless.

Miss Caitlin Grooms
Originally from Palm Harbor, Florida, Caitlin moved to Los Angeles after being accepted to the EDGE Performing Arts Center Professional Program as a scholarship student. She trained there extensively for a year while getting to work with world renowned teachers and choreographers such as Bill Prudich, JT Horenstein, Mandy Moore, Jennifer Hamilton, Terri Best, Scott Hislop, Justin Giles, Nick Lanzisera and many
Upon graduating the program, she was fortunate enough to sign with MSA (McDonald Selznick & Associates), a talent agency in Hollywood. Caitlin has since danced in music videos for comedian Andrew Kennedy and Chinese singer MiuMiu and danced along side sister pop duo “L2” as one of their back up dancers. She has been featured in two national commercials for Axe Body Spray and Skechers “Flex Appeal” Shoe and can be seen dancing in an online trailer for Just Dance 4. Most recently, she was a featured dancer in Nickelodeon star Daniella Monet’s dance work out DVD “Dancing with Deemo” and will be seen in upcoming commercials for Just Dance 2014 . Up next Caitlin will be performing as one of the five members of an all girl rock group, the Darling Stilettos, as they kick off performances in LA
Was born in Clearwater, Florida. After being a gymnast for almost 7 years, she took her first dance class at the age of 10 and hasn't stopped since. Throughout her seven years of dance she has trained in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, modern, breakdancing, ball room, and her favorite style, hip hop. She has been given several opportunities to perform at concerts like Jingle Ball, Last Damn Show, Wild Splash, etc. and has also danced at WOD Orlando, Choreographers Cup in Los Angeles, California, as well as many more. Although performing has always been something that she loves to do, taking class and training is where Adriana found her passion for wanting to learn, and wanting to grow. She has trained with the faculty of Monsters of Hip Hop, Pulse on Tour, NRG, Vyb, Shoulin Young, and Chris Chawi. Adriana has taught at several studios, and is currently teaching at West Florida Dance Center in Largo, Florida. Adriana wishes to purse a college education in the nursing field, while also living in California and pursuing her passion for dance.

has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has studied all forms of dance including, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Clogging. Her main focus is Tap. Tina has studied with some of the best tappers in the industry including but not limited to Henry Letang, Jason Samuels Smith, Aaron Tolson, Mike Minery, Anthony Morigerato, Gregg Russell. Tina has been teaching many forms of dance for more than 20 years. However, she has always been the most passionate about TAP. As a student, Tina was a Regional and National overall duo\trio champion at several competitions; winning other special awards such as “Happy Feet”, “Best duo”, “Outstanding Rhythm". As a teacher, Tina has choreographed several soloists who have been in the top 3 at the regional and national competitive level as well as have won numerous special awards. Additionally, all of her tap students have won tap scholarships this past year at Nuvo dance convention. Tina's group dances, have placed in the overalls at the regional and national level and won special awards for “Most Entertaining”. Tina is excited about sharing Her love of dance with the students at West Florida Dance Center and looking forward to seeing our students grow in the love of TAP!!
Born and raised in Tampa FL, Crystal Jackson has trained for over ten years in the styles of contemporary, jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet, lyrical and free-style. She recently graduated from Howard W. Blake High school of the Performing Arts where she was a member of the Dance Department. Here she was also a part of the choreography program which is where she found her love for chorography and teaching. At Blake Crystal also studied ballet and various styles of modern (Horton, Limon, etc.) During her high school years, Crystal attended Centerstage Dance Academy where she was a member of the Rave Reviews competition team. This experience gave her the tools she needed to become a well-rounded performer. Crystal has been accepted and spent the last four summers at summer intensives including Lines Contemporary Ballet, and LEONS Contemporary and Jazz Summer Intensive. She has studied under teachers including Danielle Dominguez, Dorell Martin of LEONS Contemporary Dance Co, Mike Esperanza of Peri Dance NYC, Angelica Stiskin of Joffrey Ballet School, Maurya Kerr of Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Tinypistol dance Company, Alonzo King of LINES Ballet Co, and many more. Though Crystal will always consider herself a student, she teaches at many dance studios in the Tampa area including Rizing Starz Dance Academy, Vyb Dance Co, and Frank Rey School of Dance and West Florida Dance Center. Crystal has plans of moving to LA within the next few yearsto further her dancer career.
moved to L.A. from Tampa, Florida. She studied modern techniques such as Horton, Limone and Graham with ballet training in Cecchetti, Vaganova and Balanchine. Other genres include hip hop, Latin jazz, pointe variations, hula, African, contemporary ballet and Bollywood. In 2012, Gina performed with Alonzo King Lines Ballet in San Francisco after completing summer training. She has worked alongside choreographers such as Tyce Dioreo, Cat Cogliandro, Chehon Wespi-Tschopp, Matt Cady and Ambrose Respicio, as well as music artists including Ricky Palomino, Radical Something and BP Major. Gina is currently a part of catastrophe! dance company, I Am Force Company and Kybele Dance Theater.
Alison Burns - Jackson
Alison graduated from New York City’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2001 and has been a working artist ever since. She made her professional debut as Maureen in the National Tour of the Broadway Musical Rent and has since starred in numerous shows including: tick, tick... Boom!, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, The Rocky Horror Show, Waist Watchers, Respect, Godspell, Man of LaMancha, Comedy of Errors, and Bernarda Alba. Her choreography has been seen in Rocky Horror, Godspell, Respect, Silence! The Musical and LIZZIE! . Her original lyrics have been heard in A Big Apple Christmas, Waist Watchers and Holiday Party of One. She most recently starred in New York City's Off Broadway hit, Disenchanted! and American Stage's HAIRSPRAY (Velma). You can also see her on your TV screens in a variety of commercials and up next, Marvelous Wonderettes at Stageworks Theatre in Tampa. After all that, she still finds time to tour the world with Disney composer, David Friedman, in Listen to My Heart. Michelle has been inspiring and motivating students for over 32 years by sharing her love of dance, appreciation of proper technique, and her positive and proactive approach to life. She teaches ballet, children’s tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and modern. She has directed pre-professional and competing companies at the Donna Miceli Dance Center in Lowell, MA, Allegro Dance Academy in Nashua, NH and at The Studio Dance Company in Clearwater, FL. She currently is on the faculty at West Florida Dance Center in Largo, FL and travels to New England each summer to teach master classes at numerous camps and intensives. Her students emerge from her classes as strong, passionate, and technically proficient dancers. They have gone on to win scholarships from conventions and advanced academies, perform at Disney, on cruise ships, for the Rockettes, Cirque de Soleil, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, on Broadway, television and in movies.
Miss Bunny Ott is a Graduate of the University of South Florida with Honors in Dance. She has performed professionally in New York, New Orleans, Mexico and locally. She was a Soloist with the Florida Gulf Coast Ballet Company, the Bay Ballet Theatre and Delta Festival Ballet. She performed with Jose Limon Dance, NY, and May O'Donnel Dance, Ny.
Credits include CBS and NBC Television specials, SuperBowl XVII and several Walt Disney Productions. Teaching credits include the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg Junior College and Eckerd College.
Several students are currently performing on Broadway and have received dance scholarships.
